Two people are under arrest after robbing a Hempstead restaurant Saturday night.
Police say Jason Thompson and Dana Ardezzone, both from Queens, took tableware items from 'La Candela Restaurant' and left.
Two employees approached the suspects outside in an attempt to retrieve the items when Thompson allegedly shoved one of the employees and showed them a knife, according to authorities.
Thompson is charged with first-degree robbery, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and second-degree menacing. Ardezzone is charged with second-degree robbery.
