A second victim has died following Wednesday's fatal fire at the Patterson Houses on Morris Avenue, the FDNY says.
Fire officials say a 16-year-old boy died Friday, two days after his 10-year-old brother died.
The fire happened early Wednesday morning inside an apartment on the 11th floor and was caused by a lithium-ion battery.
Officials have said an e-bike with a lithium-ion battery blocked the family's only exit.
The FDNY says three other families remain in critical condition as of Friday night.
