Dapper clothes and diapers for families in need were given away Saturday as part of the fourth-annual Diapers for Daddy event hosted by the NYPD Guardians Association.
Clothes for children and men, as well as baby diapers and wipes, were donated at a street fair on Bolton Avenue in Soundview. Many mothers were also in attendance.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced a halt to the event the past two years.
But now it’s back in full swing. Organizers expected around 500 people to attend the event.
The association says they are not sure where they're going to set up next year, but anyone who would like to volunteer or donate can send an email to the
organization .
