The Powerball jackpot is currently the fourth-highest in the lottery drawing’s history, and the terrible odds at winning isn’t keeping New Yorkers away from buying a ticket.
The jackpot currently sits at $785 million and the drawing is set to take place tonight at 11 p.m.
News 12’s Asha McKenzie spoke with some neighbors who hope to purchase the first winning ticket drawn since July 19. They have a one in 292.2 million chance of winning.
