A 9-year-old girl turned published author hosted a book signing in Park Slope South Sunday to thank her fans for all of their support.
Back when she was 6 years old during the March 2020 pandemic lockdown, Jaelyn Williams began to write a journal nightly with her mother.
The journaling turned into a hobby, and that hobby transformed into Jaelyn writing a book about her experiences during the pandemic.
"I'm really... grateful and happy that I was able to write a book at 6 years old," she said.
She has sold over 1,000 copies of “I Remember the Day the World Stopped" so far, and said if she gets good reviews, she would love to publish more books in the future.
Jaelyn's first book is available on
Amazon.
