American Airlines is canceling voluntary leave of more than 3,000 flight attendants, with plans to call them back by the end of 2021. The airline also plans to hire 800 new flight attendants by March 2022.
Carmakers are pushing to get more customers on board with electrical vehicles. Ford and Volkswagen offered tests drives and rides in their new electric vehicles, at the Chicago Auto Show. It was the first major United States exhibition since the pandemic began. Ford displayed the Mach-E and F-150 Lightning Pickup, while VW showcased its ID.4 Electric SUV.
Amazon is adding two more famous actors to Alexa's voice options. Previously, the only other option was superstar actor Samuel L. Jackson, besides the default Alexa voice. New options include four-time NBA champion Shaquille O'Neal and Oscar-nominated actress Melissa McCarthy. To receive the new voice options, Alexa users will have to pay $5 per voice.
