A special luncheon and award ceremony was held to honor 30 of Co-op City’s brightest students on Saturday.
The second annual Best and Brightest ceremony was held for students graduating from the fifth, eighth and 12th grade with an academic average of 90 percent or higher for the entire school year.
Each student honoree received an electronic device donated by News 12’s parent company, Optimum.
Fifth-graders received Kindles; eighth-graders received tablets; and college-bound seniors received laptops.
