A New Jersey mother has created a device to help children focus when completing school work.
Jodi Whalen says she came up with the idea for the '
Kinnebar' after watching her son fidget as he tried to complete his homework.
The 'Kinnebar' works as a foot swing which is placed under a child's desk or work area.
Whalen says it has helped her son who is a kinesthetic learner and needs movement and physical stimulation when performing tasks.
She says the ‘Kinnebar’ is lightweight, doesn't make noise and comes with both a swinging function and a bouncing function.
Whalen says the product is useful for children who have autism or Asperger syndrome.
