BagelFest Winter Games returned to Downtown Brooklyn today to celebrate National Bagel Day.

The event features a bagel tower competition, where participants have to stack as many bagels as possible and make sure it can hold up for a minute.

There will also be a contest to see who can eat the most bagels in eight minutes. The champion will win $500 in cash and the runner up will earn $250.

For those who aren't looking to overload on carbs, there is a bagel flight with a half dozen samplers and a mimosa bar. Another competition being held is the bagel toss.

This is BagelFest’s first bagel eating competition and organizers say they hope to bring it back next year.
