The Baldwin Coach Diner is shutting down.

The family-owned diner had been a staple in the Baldwin community for 61 years.

Owner Trissy Kanaras-Navas tells News 12 she's closing the business for both personal and financial reasons.

"I feel very sad about it. This is something that my father came from Greece and started the diner with his business partner. They built this diner while raising families at the same time. It's very sad. I never thought that I would be in a position to be the one to close it," explained Kanaras-Navas.

The diner's last day will be on April 10.
