A survey shows Americans between the ages of 18 and 29 are three times more likely to keep long-term investments in the form of cash instead of stocks.
The Bankrate.com survey says 39 percent of millenials picked cash as their preferred way to invest money they don't need for at least 10 years.
Another 24 percent chose real estate.
Only 13 percent said they preferred stock markets.
