The Yemeni American Merchants Association hosted its third annual Yemeni Heritage Day Festival in Bay Ridge Sunday.
Hundreds of Yemeni community members, singers, dancers, business owners, all came to 86th Street for the festivities.
"We wanted people to understand our culture. The way we dress, the way we bring our music, the way we bring our dances," said Yemeni American Merchants Association president Abdul Mubarez.
Officials addressed the crowd, performers took the stage, and families got to enjoy traditional food, merchandise, and fun activities.
Even famous Yemeni-American TikTokers came out to host some children's games.
Organizers told News 12 the event was truly about the children, so they can learn about their culture and immerse themselves in it.
