Athletes from Cardinal Hayes were selected for a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Adidas chosed the athletes to be a part of its new ad campaign to help launch a new flagship store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The students were chosen thanks to a partnership between the high school and Adidas.
The students filmed the commercial for three hours after school. They not only honed their camera skills, but also brushed up on some of their dance moves.
"After practice the gym was like a whole different scene...there were Adidas signs all over the place, it was cool," says football player Christian Anderson.
The new store is set to open this week. School officials say they plan to continue their partnership with Adidas.
