More snow showers are on the way tonight into Saturday morning. Some spots could see a coating up to 1 inch of snow by daybreak, with temperatures falling to near 30 degrees. Snowy roads will become slippery early in the morning. Please use caution while traveling.
Snow showers and flurries end by lunchtime Saturday, with a cold breeze and sun and clouds. Frigid weather arrives Sunday, with wind chills near 0 degrees in the morning. Daytime highs will only be in the 20s.
It will be dry and cold again on Monday before some showers arrive Tuesday with seasonable and drier weather Wednesday for Christmas.
FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Cloudy and cold, with the chance for flurries or light snow. Lows near 29.
SATURDAY: Morning snow showers followed by sun and clouds. Breezy and colder with highs near 34. Lows near 16. Wind chills at night will be in the single digits to near 0 degrees.
SUNDAY: Very cold with sun and clouds. Highs near 27. Lows near 14.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny and cold with highs near 33. Lows near 26.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy and cold with highs near 41. Chance for rain and snow showers during the day and into night. Lows near 30.
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy and chilly, with highs near 40. Lows near 28.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and chilly with highs near 41. Lows near 30.
