A City University of New York ad touting an apprenticeship program led a Bronx man to land his dream job.

While at Bronx Community College, Bryan Cortes was accepted to the CUNY's Associates of Applied Science Apprenticeship Program. The opportunity then led to a full-time software engineer role at a company called Deloitte.

Cortes tells News 12, "I hope it gets to reach a lot of students, and I hope they get to see what can happen if you decide to just take a chance."

Cortes encourages everyone to look out for these opportunities.
