An East Burnside Avenue meat market is finally reopening almost two years after a fire destroyed its home.
In March 2014, La Marketa Meats burned to the ground along with several neighboring businesses.
"It was a very difficult time but thank God we did it, and we are finally over here," says owner Jose Pascal, who's run the market for 41 years in the same community.
None of the other businesses destroyed in that fire have reopened, Pascal says.
