Bronx resident celebrates '25th' birthday on Leap Day, turning 100 years old

Marion Estelle Smith's family members who celebrated with her today say they're very grateful for her life and for being a longstanding pillar in their family.

A Bronx resident celebrated her 100th year of life on Thursday for her "25th" birthday!
Marion Estelle Smith was born Feb. 29, 1924. She came to New York City in the 1940s. She has four kids, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Her family members who celebrated with her today say they're very grateful for her life and for being a longstanding pillar in their family.
Marion Estelle Smith offered some tips for those looking to live a long life like her.
"Listen to what people have to say and do the right thing," said Estelle Smith. "It is easy to do the wrong thing and for the right thing... you have to work a little bit for it."
