Bronx residents across the borough celebrated Christmas Mass on Sunday.
More than 100 people attended Mass at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Throgs Neck.
Residents told News 12 that they woke up early to celebrate the day with friends and family.
"It's special for us. It's traditional. We try to come every Christmas. This is our parish, and for us, Jesus is the reason for the season and that's what we pass on," says Doris Rodriguez.
