A group of Lehman High School students produced a documentary about social issues in the Bronx that they hope can reach President Donald Trump.
The teens voiced their concerns regarding social issues in a yearlong video project titled "Mister President." The video shares personal struggles and how the students overcame them.
Their main focus is advising President Trump to reconsider cuts to programs like Trio, which gives low-income students safe extracurricular activities.
Students and teachers hope the video project makes it to Washington and will help get programs like Trio funded for many years to come.
