A Bronx teenager alleges that his manager sexually harassed him at his job in a Haagen-Dazs store on First Avenue in Manhattan.
Jeremy Johnson, 17, says his manager started acting inappropriately about a month into his first job.
"He would start to say these like sexually disgusting things..." Johnson says. "I didn't want to be next to this manager."
Johnson filed a lawsuit last month detailing text messages he claims his manager at the time, Kevin Hickman, sent him.
The teenager also claims the harassment got physical. He says Hickman would grope his backside without consent or would try to kiss him on the cheek.
Johnson says he emailed the franchise owners detailing what happened and had a meeting with them. He says, "They didn't really care about my case."
"They conducted an investigation immediately of being informed of the alleged conduct and fired the accused employee..." says Michael S. Levitz, an attorney for Nestle USA.
Johnson has since quit the job but says he filed the lawsuit because he wants justice.
Johnson's attorney tells News 12 that they have heard some initial responses from some of the lawyers involved but have not received a formal response to the complaint.
