Bronx resident Akua Afriyie is returning to the fashion world in her 70s.

Her passion for fashion took a back seat for decades, as she needed to take odd jobs to make ends meet.

She’s creating Klassique Kasuals, one-of-a-kind pieces for every generation.

Afriyae wants to continue to pursue fashion as long as her hands can handle a needle and thread. She wants to inspire others in her age group.

She says, “I want to show other senior citizens that age should not tie them down.”
