Police say a man stabbed two employees at the Museum of Modern Art on Saturday after he was denied entrance.
The incident left a 24-year-old woman with stab wounds to the lower back and a 24-year-old-man with wounds to his collarbone.
Video from the scene shows 60-year-old Gary Cabana jump over the counter and attack the workers.
Police say Cabana was a regular at MoMA and employees knew him, but he was denied entrance due to an expired membership.
"The letter revoking his membership went out yesterday and he showed up…with the stated intention of seeing a film that was being played," said NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Public Information John Miller.
MoMA remained closed Sunday as police investigated and continued to search for the suspect.
Anyone with information of Cabana's location is asked to contact police.
