International designer Elie Balleh partnered with the Brooklyn School for Career Development to teach special needs children how to make it as a designer.
The school helps teach children with special needs how to live independently, and the first cohort of students at Thursday’s grand opening walked in wearing the designs of Balleh for their very own fashion show.
Skills from ironing, sewing on a button, and learning more about fabrics and textures are just a few of the many things that these designer hopefuls will learn in these classes.
