Christians in the Bronx celebrate Easter Sunday with church services, songs and prayers.
Some of the faithful came to Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Tulips and lilies adorned the outside of the church, and while warm spring weather was noticeably missing, church-goers said they would rather be no place else.At St. Mary's Park, hundreds of children also celebrated Easter with an egg hunt. The event was complete with a visit from the Easter Bunny, hay rides, games and balloons.
Parents said they're grateful for events such as the Easter egg hunt for their children.
