City Island businesses look to build on restaurant week momentum amid storefront vacancies

The Concourse Village neighborhood just got an upgrade to its housing with the opening of “The Bronx Vibe.”

The upscale addition at 299 East 161st St. looks to bring young professionals back to the borough in an equitable way – it will provide a range of opportunities for its residents, including being walking distance from the hospital, government agencies and Yankee Stadium.

The building was designed by IMC Architecture.

“At a time when it’s so hard to find apartments, we really need to be creative in our approach in building more housing opportunities,” said Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson.
