The City University of New York sponsored a citizenship drive Saturday in person for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

It aimed to help New Yorkers who are eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship. Volunteers saw dozens of people and walked them through the process.

There were also translators inside the building for immigrants beginning their application.
