Just Alex Kama. Fun fact, like you said, it's 10 degrees warmer today. Look at that. Yeah, it's so much nicer out there. We deserve this guys after two days of really feeling like January, we're back to feeling like November on the last day of the month. It's definitely not as cold this afternoon, but you do need the jacket this morning. I'll show you the temperatures in a bit. Showers arrive for Friday evening. So most of the day Friday dry, but it will be cloudy. The weekend looks really mild, temperature wise, but it is overcast the whole day. So waking up, you're in the thirties, it feels like twenties. But by 910 in the morning, we're all in the forties and then we move into the upper forties with lots of sunshine. The sunset is at 429. So we are going to absorb every moment of sun today, especially since we have a long stretch of cloud cover coming our direct starting tomorrow. So again, highs could hit 50 in a few spots. Most of us are just shy of it tonight. We drop into the upper thirties and low forties. So that's an improvement. You see Mott Haven at 38 for your Friday morning low and then you are 49 in frogs neck on Friday. So again, it looks like a mild day. But the difference on Friday is that it is mostly cloudy and we do have a few dry sprinkles. So here's the picture. You see most of Friday dry, but then four o'clock, a couple of these showers start to creep in by six o'clock. They push over our area. So it's kind of just sprinkling. It's not a huge impact, but you might need the umbrella Saturday dry, especially to start, but the clouds will be pretty thick. Temperatures are gonna be in the fifties just about all day and we're going to watch for that quick little stray shower chance Saturday evening. So here's how the weekend is shaping up. Definitely Saturday is the better chance for dry weather. Sunday looks more overcast with a better chance of rain in the evening, but both days will have their dry time and we're in the fifties. So it's hard to complain, especially for a first weekend in December, which is historically one of our coolest months out of the year. But this is not a bad forecast. All of these temperatures much milder than what we dealt with yesterday.

Oh, they were really jumping in with the answer. There are thunderbolt. Oh, we love it. And there's the note and there's the note they made for you say it was a good visit, John. It was a good visit. They reminded us to wear our coats because it's cold outside. I'm with you. I'm not a fan of the cold eye. We see those temperatures rebound as we push forward, getting into the later part of this afternoon. But as we roll into your December for tomorrow, we are opening up this month on a little bit of a wet not, but again, numbers closer to average 49 for this time of year, we'll see 47. So listen, two degrees here there. We're looking pretty fine. Lots of sunshine. We continue to stay dry. High pressure is in control. 46 for Newtown. That's your two hour 46 for us here across Newark, 44 for Bridgeport. And then as we head into here tonight, not all too bad, still, not quite as cold, do need the jacket but thirties we'll take, we'll see forties on the wake up for your tomorrow morning. Lots of sunshine, clouds fill in late morning. Then that sets the stage for rain which we have on tap for the early parts of your afternoon for some spots. A little bit of some light scattered shower activity, a little bit of a break, mid-afternoon. Then that commute home on a Friday evening. Yeah, it could be a little bit of a doozy certainly with adding some rain to the forecast. So if you could sneak out the offense a little bit early, you should be pretty fine. But for those that do have to trek along I 95. And the merit again, we're watching for a few showers. Then by your Friday night, we're looking good. By around 7789 o'clock, we're drying out nicely. Still working with decent numbers into the forties. Not quite too cold as if you're gonna be out and about for your Friday night, you're looking good and then pushing into your Saturday, we're looking dry first half of the weekend looks pretty good. It's really gonna be Sunday, late part of the day. We're gonna see showers back into the picture. And again, we're looking a little unsettled as we're opening about the month of December.

Talk about the day ahead and how it's going to feel outside. Yeah. So it will feel a lot better than the past couple of days after a cold start early this morning. I mean, at least we got to pair the cold start with a gorgeous sunrise earlier this morning along the Hudson River and really everywhere. But expect a lot of sunshine even into the afternoon. Today, temperatures will rise into the forties and they'll be around the low forties before noon time today, afternoon, middle and upper forties. That's right on par with our normal average high this time of the year, which is around 4647 degrees. So, yes, you still want a jacket or a heavy sweatshirt into the afternoon, but it's not as brutally cold as it felt the past two days. So really nice today, then just partly cloudy skies move in for this evening and overnight temperatures will drop back down into the thirties. Then tomorrow afternoon, highs will reach the upper forties to near 50 again. So no problems with the temperatures tomorrow, but there will be mostly cloudy skies moving in during the morning and during the afternoon we can't rule out a few rounds of some light rain showers around. This will be off and on spotty, light rain. Nothing that's really even going to slow you down too much. But I would suggest you have the umbrella or a rain jacket tomorrow afternoon as there will be some showers around and the shower activity out of here by around five or six in the evening hours tomorrow. And then some drier weather will push in later on tomorrow night ahead of an ok Saturday. So highs today well into the forties, smile worthy weather have the sunglasses. It's a nice bright day, just have a jacket too. A slight chill, not nearly as cold as the past two days, low forties into this evening, eventually bottoming out in the thirties for most tonight, a few upper twenties in western orange and up into Dutchess and Ulster counties into early tomorrow morning. So it will be a little bit of a chilly start again tomorrow afternoon, upper forties to near 50 with just a few spotty rain showers during the afternoon, mostly cloudy on Saturday, 5350 with a few showers on Sunday. Most of next week at this point looks ok with more clouds and Sun Monday and Tuesday, temperatures do get a little bit colder.

All right, let's get a check of the forecast with Rich Hoffman. It is going to be a bit warmer out there today. I am happy about that after the cold conditions this morning with twenties and thirties. How about temperatures in the mid upper forties? With that sunshine? We're looking much nicer around the island for today. We're getting back to average and actually a little bit above average towards the weekend, but we do have some changes coming our way. Some clouds, some wet weather will be on the horizon today, temperatures are in the mid and upper forties. You can see through Brentwood this afternoon. There's your sunshine, mostly sunny skies. A few clouds coming in towards this evening and for the evening rush hour dry weather conditions with temperatures in the mid forties, wind chills this morning have been in the twenties and thirties. Yes, it has been cold this morning. We're improving our weather during our afternoon hours. Take a look around the tri state region. Sunshine from the east end to the west end, Nassau County, seven County heading into the five boroughs of Queens down along the Jersey shoreline heading north today mostly sunny skies. Take a look at our temperatures here for today. 48 degrees, mostly sunny tonight. Partly cloudy skies. A little chilly to cold at 38 but not as cold. The last couple of morning we've had temperatures in the twenties with wind chills in the teens and twenties. The cold weather is with us. Now, going through the afternoon hours, temperatures, mid and upper forties, you can see here at around 330 going towards tonight. A few passing clouds, your evening rush hour will be dry with temperatures in the lower forties. For your Friday morning temperatures around 35 to 40 before eight o'clock. We're right around 930. Now, mid forties, even some fifties popping up more sunshine on Friday and then towards Friday evening, a few spotty showers start to develop some nuisance showers coming our way and an overnight Friday just kind of cloudy skies. But drier weather conditions into Saturday and a few more raindrops coming in Saturday night into your Sunday. So recapping your Thursday forecast today, forties to around 50 degrees, mostly sunny and nice afternoon. Then for tonight, lows are in the thirties, partly cloudy skies and then going into tomorrow, we can see here fifties after morning sunshine showers Friday evening, mostly cloudy Saturday showers coming in Sunday, Monday, but temperatures in the fifties

We do have warmer temperatures today. Yes, that's right. Mild temperatures, not as active winds thankfully. And we'll notice the winds out of the southwest will add on to that mild condition and high temperature for today reaching 50 degrees. Some of us, even 52 New York, you'll notice also our weather icons plenty of sunshine this afternoon. We'll notice some passing clouds, but that's it as far as you know, what can linger across our skies tomorrow though. You'll notice those rain showers into the afternoon in New Brunswick, 51 degrees. You'll expect the same across Edison and Newark 52 as well. In some locations though. We'll notice the rain arriving a little bit on the earlier side. So around 12 and to two, but that's for northern portions of the state across the state though. So central northern as well as southern portions, especially across the shore four and into seven o'clock into the afternoon, evening time frame could be expected to see that wet weather. How much, not much we're noticing trace to upwards, you know, 1/10 to 10th of an inch. So that's not significant rainfall. We're not noticing too much of major impacts with that today. It's sunny and chilly but feeling seasonable all in all we're supposed to be right where we're going to 50 degrees as a high temperature, 52 for some spots as well. Tomorrow we wake up into the thirties, we notice some clouds filtering in right around nine o'clock into lunch time. That's when we'll notice a lot of the system just, you know, breaking apart into two pieces first across Sussex and Warren County as well, North Bergen Counties as well. Then four o'clock, it's central southern portions and northern corridor, not as substantial as in the first round of rain, but nicely exiting right around seven and eight o'clock, calm conditions heading into the overnight. We start off on the dry side, too, more sunshine for Saturday, but it doesn't last for too long. The clouds will be back into play as well as those late showers arriving filtering in across for Sunday and Sunday. Then it becomes a Monday thing as well. So we're heading into the fifties, feeling so much better, even our overnight lows staying stuck into the forties.
