Day of remembrance pays tribute to Bronx natives lost on 9/11
Monday marked a day of remembrance in the Bronx as dozens gathered to honor the 144 people from the borough who were lost in the 9/11 terror attacks.
The return of the annual ceremony was organized by Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and the Bronx Supreme Court. News 12's Amanda Bossard served as emcee.
The solemn event reflected on the lives lost through song and prayer. It was attended by first responders, elected officials and Bronx families who are keeping memories of their loved ones close.
