The midterm elections have finally ended, and things are switching up.
Republicans had complete control on Capitol Hill for the last two years
Right now, the Democrats are projected to take control of the House.
This after winning key states like Pennsylvania and Virginia. It’s the first time the party would control the house in eight years.
While the Republican Party is projected to continue control in the Senate, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi calling the outcome, "a new day in America."
"In stark contrast to the GOP Congress, the Democratic Congress will be led with transparency and openness so that the public can see what's happening and how it effects them,” says Pelosi. “And that they can weigh in with the members of Congress and the President of the United States. We will have accountability and strive for bipartisanship."
