After a rainy week, the Department of Health will be spraying for mosquitoes in the Bronx Monday.
The city is beefing up its insecticide efforts after at least one person got West Nile Virus this summer.
That person is in Suffolk County on Long Island.
The Health Department says the risk of pesticides are low to people and pets, but they recommend you stay indoors when possible during the spraying.
The spraying is slated to happen from 8:30 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
