Thousands of people made their way to Park Slope Sunday evening to celebrate Chinese cuisine and culture at Dragon Fest.
The festival was held along 7th Avenue between 4th and 6th streets.
"I am a foodie, so I'm always looking to try food from different cultures, and when I heard about the Dragon Fest, I was super excited," said Ayanna Nicholson, of Midwood. "I've tried about everything already. I've had the buns, the skewers, the dumplings – it’s delicious. It's awesome."
Families also enjoyed the festival, and one dad spent his first Father's Day with his first daughter.
"We get to spend our special time and special moments together, and she's my everything," said Cody, of Park Slope.
Overall, many say the Dragon Fest adds to the diversity in Brooklyn and they can't wait for it to come back next year.
"It's awesome to see all types of people from different cultures and different parts of the world all merging to enjoy the dragon festival," Nicholson added.
News 12's Daniella Rodriguez was at the festival and got a first look and taste of the Dragon Fest.
