Local leaders in Brooklyn are holding mobile office hours at Assembly Member Simcha Eichenstein's office in Borough Park to assist Brooklyn residents who have
loved ones stuck in Israel.
Officials are helping them track family members down as well as find travel accommodations to get home. The assemblyman is offering the help along with Reps. Yvette Clarke and Dan Goldman. Goldman was in Israel when Hamas first attacked. He made it back to the U.S. safely.
New Yorkers in need of help are encouraged to bring any information they have about their loved ones like passport numbers, identification and their location. They're also being asked to register with the State Department.

"We've just started, and we've already had dozens of constituents who are here with the information of their loved ones and the members of Congress are going to be on the State Department's back," Eichenstein said.
