A Westchester man is in police custody after allegedly hitting and killing a pedestrian while driving in The Bronx.
The NYPD says 47-year-old Robert Blakney, of Elmsford, was traveling south on the Major Deegan Expressway Friday morning.
That’s when he hit a man who was crossing the highway.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Blakney was taken to the hospital and was later arrested.
