‘No words.’ Fairfield National advances to US Championship game of LLWS with win over Nevada

The win sparked celebrations across the Black Rock section of Fairfield, where fans gathered at Elicit Brewing Company to cheer on the hometown team.

After Wednesday’s thrilling 7-3 win over Las Vegas, Fairfield National will play for a chance to represent the United States in the Little League World Series Championship game.
“I got no words,” says Robert Mills, of Fairfield. “I’m happy for the team. They deserve it, they deserve everything.”
Hundreds of fans cut their work days short to pack Elicit Brewing Company for yet another watch party.
“If they continue on this run, it’s magical,” says Vin O’Hara, of Fairfield. “Best of luck the rest of the way!”
Part of the proceeds from Wednesday’s event will go to Fairfield National’s Little League program.
Fairfield’s next game is Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Williamsport. They will play the winner of Thursday night’s game between Nevada and South Carolina.
