Dozens of fans flocked to La Masa Colombian Restaurant in Morris Park to catch the much-anticipated Copa America 2024 matchup between Colombia and Brazil.
The first-round matchup had the restaurant buzzing with the colors of the Colombian flag, yellow, blue and red, covering the restaurant's walls.
The owner of La Masa says that events like this, which was put together by local leaders Assembly Member John Zaccaro and state Sen. Nathalia Fernandez, help boost business and bring the community together.
“A party like this is great just because it brings people, it brings the community into a business like ours and it just gets everybody together, excited, people come and enjoy it, it’s just a great community here," said restaurant owner Jorswar Montalvo.
