Fathers across New York City came together Tuesday for "Dads Take Their Children to School Day."
At P.S. 63 on Franklin Avenue, a group of dads from the Bronx Fathers Coalition say they are adamant about getting fathers and their children on a winning path.
"We have to get fathers involved, in all aspects, starting with making sure their kids are getting the best education that they possibly can," says coalition head Coach Stevan Lynn.
Lynn says that accountability is one of the key components to what he's calling the "Fatherhood movement."
The coach says he's going to continue to meet with his group every week. They also will be taking part in a health and fitness expo in the Bronx on Oct. 10.
