The FBI says it's searching for a man accused of robbing two Bronx banks after being released from prison for robbing more banks.
The agency's New York Violent Crimes Task Force says Jamie Frierson, 49, robbed two Apple Bank branches on May 8 and May 9, one on East Fordham Road and the other on East 161st Street.
News 12 is told that in both incidents, the suspect handed a note to the teller that said he wanted money and was armed.
Investigators say he's 6 feet tall with a scar on his forehead and right arm.
The FBI says Frierson had recently been released from prison after being convicted of robbing seven banks back in 2017.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
