FDNY: 14 hospitalized due to carbon monoxide exposure in Bronx building

First responders reached the scene on 800 E. 180th St. at Mapes Avenue and Southern Boulevard around 8:37 a.m.

Fourteen people have been transported to a hospital due to carbon monoxide exposure in the Bronx, FDNY officials say.
First responders reached the scene on 800 E. 180th St. at Mapes Avenue and Southern Boulevard around 7:32 a.m.
Firefighters say the conditions are not considered life-threatening and that the people are being treated at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi.
A woman is in critical condition.
News 12 reached out to Con Edison, which said it looks like there was a problem with a customer's heating equipment .
