A fast-moving two-alarm fire in Throgs Neck damaged several Bronx businesses Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out during the morning rush on East Tremont Avenue in Throgs Neck.
Officials say they believe the fire started in a kitchen and spread to neighboring stores, including a pizzeria, a tattoo shop, a karate center and a tooth whitening spa.
Each suffered smoke and water damage.
One firefighter was overcome with heat exhaustion. Three others were also treated at the scene for minor injuries.
A city fire marshal will determine the cause of the blaze.
