Popping a bottle of champagne or cheering a beer to the new year feels innocent enough until you have too much to drink and realize you drove to your destination. That's why Five J's Automotive is making sure their friends and neighbors get home safely to start off the new year.
At Five J's Automotive, it's a tradition - they bring you and your car home if you need a ride. From midnight tonight until 6 a.m. tomorrow morning on New Year' Day they will help you get home safe.
Even as COVID spikes through the city, many still have plans to go out and ring in the new year, and sometimes drinking more than planned. No questions asked, they offer free tows to anyone under the influence.
They will also be using precautions like wearing a mask and offering masks for riders too. This all started after seeing too many cars destroyed and lives lost on the road over the years as people rang in the new year.
