A Bronx nonprofit is offering a free program to help students obtain jobs in the tech industry.
The Knowledge House is renting space in an apartment complex to teach students how to code and create their own websites.
The group is running its Bronx Digital Pipeline program because it says that 36 percent of Bronx residents do not have access to the digital world.
Students of the program have designed the food-delivery app Bodega Hunter and Time Flies, a website that helps with time management.
Once a student finishes the program, Knowledge House connects them with colleges and companies that can help them develop long-term careers.
