NYPD Officer Wilbert Mora will be laid to rest Wednesday just one week after his partner Detective Jason Rivera.
Both were tragically shot in the line of duty while responding to a domestic violence call on Jan. 21 in Harlem. Mora was shot in the head and transported to Harlem Hospital and later transferred to NYU Langone Medical Center where he died from his injuries. Rivera died at the scene.
Mora's body was transported to Riverdale Funeral Home in Inwood last week. Mora donated his heart, liver, kidneys and pancreas to help save lives.
Viewing services for Mora will be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Cathedral.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Cathedral.
Thousands are expected to attend the services.
