Gov. Andrew Cuomo has added Rhode Island to a list of states that qualify for the travel advisory requiring visitors to quarantine for 14 days to stop community spread of COVID-19.
According to the governor, the quarantine applies to any person arriving from an area with a positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents over a seven-day rolling average or an area with a 10% or higher positivity rate over a seven-day rolling average.
Delaware and Washington, D.C. have been removed from the list, which can be found on the
governor’s website.
