For more
than 30 years Green Point Christmas Trees in Brooklyn has been
selling trees to families near and far, but this year, they're
recommending that residents get their trees sooner rather than later.
Green Point
Christmas Trees have been open since last week and already sold more
than 200 Christmas trees.
Since 1990,
Green Point Christmas Trees have been a staple in the Brooklyn community,
providing people with a holiday experience.
They have
trees ranging from 3 to 15 feet and this year the tallest tree stands at 24
feet tall
According
to Green Point Christmas Trees, the cost for an average 6-foot
tree ranges between $100 to $150.
Green Point
tells News 12 they haven't seen a price increase but they’re still facing a
Christmas tree shortage and recommend people to get their tree as soon as
possible.
"There's
not going to be many trees around, so you better get it out, get it
quickly. I’ve been doing it since I was eight years old, so I think it’s
just great to provide holiday cheer to all of our neighbors," says Stephen
Leddick, owner of Green Point Christmas Trees.
Green Point
Christmas Trees are open 24 hours, 7 days a week until Christmas Eve.
