Waiting for the bus becomes a particularly tough task this time of year, especially as temperatures hover around zero.
Butch Nieves, owner of Mr. America's Training Camp on East Tremont Avenue, says there are exercises that can be taken from the gym to the street in order to feel some heat.
Nieves says commuters need to move larger body parts, like the legs, which will raise body temperature. He recommends running in place, doing high-knees, squats or jumping jacks.
He recognizes it might make you look a little funny, but it will leave you feeling a little less bitterly cold.
While deploying these tips, Nieves says it's important to also stay hydrated throughout the course of the day.
