With just half a minute left in Saturday's game and a touchdown needed to win it, the Cardinal Hayes football team executed a play they only practiced once or twice. To their luck and skill, that play ended up winning them the game.
It was a game that had it all - lead changes, interceptions, the highs and the lows for both Cardinal Hayes and their opponents Chaminade.
But Hayes saved the best for last: a touchdown-scoring play that featured a connection between brothers senior quarterback Henry Belin and freshman receiver Rich Belin, with a pitch to Rex Roman for an unforgettable touchdown.
