Neighbors say scaffolding on a Highbridge building must come down.
Residents say they avoid walking underneath the scaffold on Ogden Avenue because of the structure’s poor conditions. They say they fear someone may get hurt.
However, the Department of Buildings says the scaffold was installed because the exterior of the dilapidated building posed a danger to the public. They say the property is in the process of being developed into affordable housing.
NVC Capital Partners tells News 12 that it's in the process of acquiring construction permits with the city and hopes to break ground on the project in the summer.
