Hindu festival of colors kicks off at BX temple
Holi, the annual Hindu festival of colors, kicked off Sunday in the Bronx outside Vishnu Temple. Organizers say it's about all things good: the coming of spring, good above evil and community building.

Holi, the annual Hindu festival of colors, kicked off Sunday in the Bronx outside Vishnu Temple.
Organizers say it's about all things good: the coming of spring, good above evil and community building.
This year, the city Comptroller's Office came and gave the temple a commendation award for continuing the festival celebration for almost 19 years.
The festival attracts more than just Hindus, now drawing a diverse crowd in the Bronx.
