3h agoA day at the beach turned out to be anything but fun in the sun for one horse who lost their way.
NYPD officers say they received a call for a horse in the water by Orchard Beach at around 1:15 p.m. on Friday. The department's Mounted Unit helped remove the horse from the water.
Officials say the horse belonged to a stable around two miles away. There's no word on how it got loose, but thankfully the horse is in good health.
