News 12 meteorologists say there is a heat advisory in effect until 8 p.m. Tuesday with the chance for some scattered showers and possible evening thunderstorms.
The storms will be on the lighter side with moderate downpour.
The humidity levels are expected to drop Tuesday night but it will still be hot Wednesday.
On Wednesday, morning showers will give way to increasing sunshine. But the heat remains -- highs for the day will be around 91 degrees.
